Pogo the Clown
Pogo the Clown, hand-tufted by Karpet Workshop
This piece is based on a painting by John Wayne Gacy, one of roughly 2,000 works he made on death row at Menard Correctional Center after acquiring a paint set in 1982. Gacy was convicted of the murders of 33 young men and boys. This rug is made as a study of macabre and outsider art, not as a tribute to him, and our thoughts remain with his victims and their families.
